At Hello&GoodBuy we believe in giving pre-loved clothing a second life. We’ve created a sourcing process that prioritizes quality, sustainability, and community impact. Here’s how we acquire the treasures you find in our store:
1. Store Credit: A Sustainable Cycle
We offer store credit for your gently used, high-quality clothing. Here’s how it works:
- Initial Assessment: Simply send us a few photos of the items you’d like to sell. This allows us to get a preliminary understanding of your collection.
- In-Person Evaluation: We offer two convenient options for a detailed assessment:
- We can travel to your location (a 50 AED transportation fee applies).
- You can bring your items directly to our showroom.
- Fair Offer: Following the assessment, we’ll provide you with a total price for your items in store credit.
Quality Control: Our thorough assessment process ensures that we maintain a strict standard of quality and curate brands that align with our values.
Please note: We do not offer store credit for the following items, but gladly accept them as donations: gym wear, lounge wear, jeans, basic wear, knit wear, simple black clothes, visibly worn shoes, and costume jewelry.
2. Donations: Giving Back to the Community
We warmly welcome clothing donations. To make giving back as stress-free as possible, we are happy to come to your house and pick up your donations. Please keep in mind that we do not accept undergarments as donations and kindly donate items you would be comfortable lending to your best friend or sister. Every donated item that sells contributes to meaningful projects, including:
- Funding girls’ education in Ghana.
- Planting a tree for every sale, in partnership with One Tree Planted.
- Supporting mangrove reforestation efforts within the UAE.
Your donations help us make a positive impact on both the environment and communities in need.
3. Luxury Consignment: Exclusive Pieces
For your high-end, luxury items, we offer a dedicated consignment service. You will be required to complete our luxury consignment form on our website and visit us in store for inspection of your luxury items.
